The Euro-FetalMed Institute, formed by three European Fetal Medicine Research Centers based in the Hospital Clinic Barcelona, Spain, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium and Kings College University, London, U.K.

The aim of this EU funded program is to offer a multidisciplinary training research fellowship in Fetal Medicine oriented to clinical as well as basic researchers, involving several main lines of research with a number of sub-projects, including among others fetal therapy and surgery, fetal growth retardation and preeclampsia, monochorionic twin pregnancy, pulmonary hypoplasia, prenatal diagnosis of chromosomal abnormalities, fetal tissue banking and engineering, and early human development.
